As I stepped out of my automotive and onto the winding path, the crunch of gravel beneath my ft was the one sound that broke the silence of the forest. The air was crisp and clear, crammed with the candy scent of blooming wildflowers and the earthy scent of damp soil. I had been trying ahead to this hike for weeks, and at last, I used to be right here, surrounded by the majestic fantastic thing about oak timber.
